Linlee's Proposal

I have to document this conversation so that I will remember it. This is more for me than anyone so humor me. The children have been so sweet this morning and have told me happy m-day so many times I have lost count. Anyway, I was helping Linlee get dressed and she once again said,"Happy Mother's Day Mommy!" I said, " oh thank you Linlee."
With a serious and thoughtful look on her face, she then said,"Mommy, one day when I grow up and you haven't died yet and no one has chosen to marry me yet, I will make you breakfast!"
I said with a smile in my heart "Oh that would be wonderful sweetheart."
Oh the mind of a child!!! :)

First Real Bath

I decided to try Sidney out in the tub. She obviously loved it...

She has really become so fun. She loves people and is happy 95% of the time. She is getting into a routine too so that makes things more predictable and manageable. Still eating every 2 hours and not sleeping all night yet but things are falling into place slowly. We will make the big move to our own room sometime in the next week I think....not sure if I am ready yet.

Berteau Family

It is tradition with each child to get a photo in front of the stork. Ben's grandfather painted these and used to put them in people's yards as a side job. It is really special to be able to carry on a part of his life in ours. Thanks Grandpa for bringing the stork!

 

Conner officially graduated to big boy underwear!!!! We are so proud of our little pottier. He may kill me for this pic one day!

 

Preschool Musical

Linlee and Conner had their preschool musical Friday night. Both did great! Grandma and Grandpa were able to make it up to see it.

 

 

Sidney and Grandma were having a great time talking to each other. Sidney is really coming out of her shell and is pleasant most of the time. So much fun!!

Since I threw so many pics of Linlee out there the other day, I thought I better send some of the other 2 too. I only really had 1 of Conner. Sidney just took a few good ones though. Thanks for the outfit Avery...too cute.
