I heard Linlee and Conner laughing from the laundry room this am. This is what I found. What makes kids think to do things like this. (although, I have a pic of me doing this in college...) Anyway,

Pretty picture of Linlee and Sidney. Linlee was so excited last night because she go to feed Sid her cereal "so daddy can do other things." She did great!!! I found a new job for her...

Conner actually listened and got himself dressed this am when I asked him to. I tried to talk him out of either the shirt or shorts, but this is what he wanted to wear to Kroger, so I let him. One step at a time...

Swimming Lessons

Linlee,Conner and Annelise took swimming lessons this week. They had a blast and did great. They were supposed to learn how to swim underwater, but the teacher said that everyone in this class was so afraid to get their faces in the water that it turned out to be a "get used to water in you face" class. Oh well, at least Conner will get in now without fussing.

Grandma was like a rock star this weekend. The kids just adored having her here and wanted her every waking moment. thanks grandma for coming to visit.

 

 

We did get to see grandpa for a little while too.

Independance Weekend

What a holiday!! The Marlars cooked out for us on Thurs night. Delicious!! The kids had lots of fun blowing bubbles and shooting us with water guns. SO FUN!!! It was so cute to see Avery with her walking toy. She was everywhere!

On Friday morning, Ben and I took the kids to the children's museum. They loved it. There was sooo much to see and take in! Linlee says that she wants to go everyday!!

More Dress Up

 

This is how L and C came down this morning. I could hear C saying "Cowboy" over and over again. When they rounded the corner, I just busted out laughing. I was not expecting this. He has dressed up like this before per prev pics, but not in the hat and fancy shoes. As Sharon would say, Mercy.... Can we say rhinestone cowboy??

 

 

Ben's Painting

Here is the painting we gave Ben for Father's day. The painting as a whole is a cross. The bottom half represents our journey through life and the struggles we endure. The middle is crossing over over into eternity and the top is heaven. i couldn't find the "real" story that the painter e-mailed me and didn't have time to retype it, but that is the jist. I love it!!

I knew I shouldn't have said anything about Sid sleeping habits because that was short lived. I know that once they start sleeping through that you shouldn't feed them when they wake up, but at 1 or 2 am, long term thinking patterns just aren't there. She will work back into it, I am sure. until then....
