The Beach!!!

Here are the kidsand Ben waiting to get on their 1st airplane ride! The little TV was a life saver!! They loved it.

This look was pretty much plastered on Linlee's face the whole time we were at the beach. She loves the beach!! just like her mom..

Linlee saw a little girl with a rainbow sucker and she had to have one. Lots of fun, but very messy!!

Suprises

Nana and Papa suprised us last Tuesday! The kids were out in the yard and Nana and Papa came walking up the sidewalk. Conner was tougue tied he was so suprised. they had fun!! Linlee has been running fever since last Wednesday! Luckily it was finally gone this morning. Just in time for our trip!



This is the 2 of them helping me make daddy's birthday cake! Isn't this the best part anyway?

Facts about me:
1. I can't wait to go to the beach!!!! Next weekend (Lord willing that we are not still sick!!!) WE are flying to Destin! When I briefly visited last month, it really made me want to just stay the rest of the summer. I don't know who is more excited, Linlee or me!!

2.I know most people say the following pregnancies are not near as exciting as the 1st. I would have agreed with my 2nd one, but I am sooooooo excited about this 3rd one. I guess partly because it was planned for once. Also because I know it is the last one so I want to treasure every sickening minute. I just can't stop smiling to myself!

3. I (like Sharon) am sick of the HEAT!! I am so tired of being stuck inside all the time and really wish for words like "wind chill".

4. I so enjoy being in the car alone sometimes so that I can listen to real music. Country, rock, whatever. A person gets tired of kids stuff sometimes...

5. I have really allowed myself to be lazy during nap time lately. As most mothers who stay at home know, this is prime getting stuff done time. I, however, have let myself lay on the couch and rest or watch tv. I don't feel guilty about it. I know that time will end soon. I mean, when else can I rest in my very worn out condition???

6. I have recommitted myself to memorize bible verses and do a daily quiet time. While it doesn't always get done, I feel a renewed energy in my spiritual walk that is quite refreshing.

7. I wish Ben and I had more time together. With all of his traveling and me feeling tired all the time, I feel like we haven't really spent alot of time together lately.

8. Life is just great isn't it? I look at my kids and everything we have been blessed with. What else could we every want? I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Playing with Avery

Nothing really special to report. I am feeling better on most days now so there will likely be more postings. YEAH!! Not too good today though so it is not completely gone but here's hoping...
Conner was laying on the floor with Avery "talking" to her and it was so cute, I went to get my camera. Of course the moment passed by the time I took the picture, but she still looked cute so I thought I would post them anyway.



This one is of my big girl going to gymnastics. She absolutely loves it!!!

Safety Violation!!

The kids have switched from being Nick JR watchers to being Disney watchers. This is kind of refreshing since it is something new. One of the little minin shows deals with 2 kids finding things that aren't safe and placing a big orange cone by it. It is called a "safety violation". We made a trip to Home Depot last night. When we found the orange cones, of course the kids went crazy. They put them on their heads and Conner said "I am a safety violation!!!" TOO CUTE!!!
