Home again

Back came the kids and with them, the sillies. It is so good to have the noise level back to its original level, however quiet is nice too, just not tooo much for too long!
They decided to do a show Sat night after we got home. Linlee was the clown...

Conner was the car puppet guy. who knows what a car puppet guy does, but that is what he was.

Sidney stood all by herself for about 30 seconds in Kindermusik this morning. It was quite exciting! Not long now I'm afraid. I just hope she is walking well before we go to the beach in May!

Just me and little girl

Wow how quiet the house has been! Linlee and Conner have been visiting Nana and Papa this week and so I have had some quality time with my little girl. I really think she has enjoyed getting all the attention (like she didn't get it all before..) She has however become more independant now that she has the crawling thing licked. I have been able to get some things done while she is actually awake and playing by herself!! This is not normal because she usually requires my attention at all times. She will now start crawling away, then pause to look back at me, sit up and say "Go" very emphatically while raising her arm for emphasis. Then off she goes. So cute. We even got to go eat lunch with daddy (at Pei Wei no less) and went to the mall to shop. We have gone on lots of walks with Daddy and are enjoying the nice weather.
I realized this morning that I had not taken any pictures this week so of course I had to get out the camera and snap a few artistic shots ( I didn't intend for them to be artistic, they just turned out that way).
I am enjoying the time to get things done like clean out closets, clean the fridge and shampoo the carpet. I do however look forward to the normal hustle and bustle that is our home.

Whoever said video games created couch potatoes has never played Wii. I walked in on these 2 jogging against each other yesterday. Love it! They really keep each other occupied.

Snow Day 3-1-09

If any of you know my oldest daughter, then you know that she lives for snow. She would happily move to a more northern location just to be able to have more snow. So, you can imagine that she was super excited to see it coming down on Saturday afternoon. Looking forward to being able to sled with the kids before I had to go to work on Sund. Well, that didn't happen. Linlee, Conner and myself were up all night sick with the stomach virus (and Ben was up taking care of us). What a night/day to have that... Needless to say, we didn't get to enjoy the snow. I did find a super duper sledding spot on my way to work Sun (yes I tried to go but only stayed about 3 hours). I am keeping a mental note for next time it snows.

We got about 4.5-5 inches!!

Here we are watching the neighbors build a snowman.

Conner wanted to make a snowball and since he felt a little better at the moment, I took him out before I headed to work.
Oh well, there is always next year! Welcome spring!!!
