You always have to get a shot of the 1st ponytail right? I thought it was cute!

Curtains and Crawling

Well, I have officially made my first curtains. While not perfect, I am very proud of them!! It is tough to sew through that many layers of thick fabric!! I had to hand sew the thickest parts because my machine just couldn't handle it. All in all I am pleased!

I also just received the frame for Conner's portrait and got it on the wall today. Those precous kids..

Sidney is officially real crawling. Not much and not proficeintly, but we can check that one off the list. She usually just leapfrogs around but I really wanted her to get the crawling motion down. Now on to teeth and walking...

Things I don't want to forget

We had a few funny statements this week that I want to remember.

While playing a game of Wii bowling one night, Ben bowled a strike and Linlee said,"you dogone rascal". Grandpa, I think that one belongs to you.

AT breakfast one morning, I was sitting alone at the table while the others were at the bar. Conner noticed and came to sit with me. So sweet. I said," Conner how is your day?" He said" Mommy, you live with me...."

Sidney's favorite thing is to drop something and say "uh,oh" love it that she knows what that means.

Linlee had a deep look on her face one night and she looked at me and said, "that was my thinking face."

I love my life!

Mad skills

These pictures are really to showcase my mad sewing skills (haha). No really, I am proud of the ourfits but don't look too closely because there are lots of sewing mistakes in them. From a distance, I think they turned out pretty cute though.

A rare group shot. Wish we could have gotten Daddy in there too.

Sleepover

We had Annelise sleep over and they had a blast. We decided to let them camp out in the playroom, Conner included. Hopefully it will go well....Here they are fixing each others hair after they gave themselves a bath. Annelise said that Linlee's pj's were so fancy that she looked like Hannah Montana! Linlee said who is that?? Don't know how A knows that either. Too cute!

Sidney wants to get in on the sleepover action too. Maybe in a few years... She says cheese!!!

Not many pictures to report...

I don't actually have any pictures this time, but just wanted an update for me...
Instead of going out on my birthday, we decided to go visit Nana and Papa. We always have a great time and are thankful that they let us go out on Sat to see a movie (Taken - very good). They really outdid themselves on Sun with a big cookout. Delicious! The drive back home was difficult because Sidney has had fussy spells lately. Not sure what is going on (we can always blame teeth right?)
On Monday, Grandma and Grandpa came up to go to Grandparents day at school with Linlee! She was so excited to have them there and they had fun too. The kids love having family around and for someone to play games with them. If they played Uno once, they played 50 times. I got to go out for a little while Wed morning to do errands by myself. Thanks!!
Linlee was accepted to Wesminster Academy and we are thrilled! She is too. Can't wait to start Kindergarten.
As I mentioned before, Sid has just been acting unlike herself lately. She is revolting against the sippy cup now as well has regular milk. Today she wouldn't even eat lunch. I hope some pretty teeth are coming through, otherwise, I have not a clue what is going on. It will pass soon hopefully. Still not walking yet, but it won't be long.
That's all for now...

Just Pictures

One of Linlee and Conner's favorite things to do right now is put together these puzzles that they got for Christmas. Conner is getting really great at doing them by himself.

Our other new favorite thing is our Wii!! WE all love to play and it has been really fun bonding time. Linlee smokes us on just about everything...

Here are some pics of my precious 1 year old!!

We had our 1 yr check up today. She weighs 19.9 lbs and is 29 1/4" tall. We had already turned her seat around yesterday on the way to church so I guess we will just leave it at this point even though she is technically 1/2 lb too light...
Linlee had her 5 yr/school check up and she weighs 38 lbs and is 44 1/4" tall. They both had shots and did pretty well. Linlee went first to show her little sister how it is done. She was soo brave! I love it.
