We had a great family Thanksgiving with just the 5 of us. I originally was sceduled to work, but found out that I was taken off the schedule! What a great day. We played and cooked all day while Dad worked in the yard. After our big meal which turned out great if I do say so myself, we had dessert at a friends house. It is so great to have extended family!
Sidney loves to head konk. I think it is her was of showing love. I happened to get it on film this time. too cute.

Annual Fall Pictures
We have been trying to get our fall pictures at the square done for a few weeks now and it hasn't worked out. We grabbed the last opportunity we had at 4:00 today in 42 degree weather!! Needless to say, we didn't get many with Sidney because it was too cold, but I think the ones we did get are pretty good!! We had the Fish family join us for the photo shoot. I felt like a real photgrapher!

9 month proofs...
Considering that Sidney fell twice and konked her head, these turned out ok. Not great but ok. If you want to take a peek go to www.foresthillphoto.com your gallery session Berteau3.
Tonight, as I was getting on to Conner for the 19th time, this is how our conversation went:
me "Conner, if you do something wrong to someone, what should you do?"
Conner "Stop................drop and roll"
I could not maintain my composure!!! Had to document this moment. Thank the recent visit from the fireman at school.

9 month checkup
She looks scared in this picture because I had just left the room while she was standing up behind this toy and of course she (not having fallen for the last 5 minutes) fell backward with the toy on top of her. Bad mommy!!! I was so proud of her standing though that I had to get a picture, scared or not. We had our 9 month check up today. She weighs 17lb 7 oz and is 27 1/2 inches tall. She is not interested at all in crawling. She only wants to stand up and she can blow kisses. Soo cute!!

Make a Smilebox scrapbook |
I put together a scrapbook for you to enjoy. It only contains about 1% of the photos we took. I will upload the rest to snapfish if you so desire to view all 300+!! The first day we spent at Epcot. We road Soarin' first at it was amazing!! We had our princess lunch that day at Norway. The girls were not overly impressed, but they enjoyed it. Linlee had a tummy ache so that sort of put a damper on her mood. She felt much better once that was gone. The rest of the day we just sort of explored various countries and rode some more rides. The highlight of the day was the Chinese acrobats. I swear they have no bones in their bodies. Amazing. We ate at the Coral Reef for dinner and it was really neat.
Day 2 we rode the Monorail to Chef Mickey's which was awesome!! One of our favorite dinners for sure. Then it was off to Magic Kingdom. The girls absolutely loved Thunder Mountain!! We ended up riding it 4 times before we left for home. We also rode all the staple rides like Peter pan, Small World (don't you just love that song...). We went back to M.K. on Wed and Thurs morning so we pretty much saw everything at least once. Love special magic hours! It was not crowded at all during that time! Other times, I thought it was much more crowded than I expected, but still not too bad. Ben and I got to have a date night on day 2 while the girls spent the evening with the Fish and some of their friends swimming at our resort. Very nice!
Day 3 we spent the morning at Animal Kingdom doing the Safari and looking at various animals. Our best part of that park was the dinosaur dig and the playground. We stayed in that area alone for 2 hours!! They loved it. The other adults rode Everest while I supervised children. We then went to Holywood Studios and split up so the adults could ride Aerosmith. The kids saw a few shows and then it was time to call it a day.
Ben and I took the girls out Wed night to Whispering Canyon while the Fish had their date night. We loved it!!! The girls go to ride stick horses around the restaurant and we did the Hokey Pokey about 3 times. Don't ask for ketchup!!!
On our last morning while walking around M.K. We noticed an airplane in the air. It looked as if he were "drawing" a happy face in the sky with his smoke trail. Sure enough, he was. He went on to write "Jesus loves you" also. So cool!!!!
As you can tell, we had a wonderful time!!! Thanks to the grandparents for watching the younger 2. They had a blast as well!!
As a side note so that I don't forget.. there was a man drinking diet coke and smoking on a bench outside our elevator EVERY time we went to or from our room. I think we was there permanently for 5 days! It became a great joke between us.
I have finished uploading the pics to snapfish, if you want to see them, let me know and I will e-mail you the link.

Lots more to come
I don't have time to put together a big post on Disney until Monday so I will say this. We had a BLAST!!!
Linlee and Annelise got to participate in "Story time with Belle" and as you can see had a great time. (That was one of our tired times and I don't think they smiled once).
If you have seen the movie Fireproof, you may recognize Belle!!
