More Dress Up

 

This is how L and C came down this morning. I could hear C saying "Cowboy" over and over again. When they rounded the corner, I just busted out laughing. I was not expecting this. He has dressed up like this before per prev pics, but not in the hat and fancy shoes. As Sharon would say, Mercy.... Can we say rhinestone cowboy??

 

 

Ben's Painting

Here is the painting we gave Ben for Father's day. The painting as a whole is a cross. The bottom half represents our journey through life and the struggles we endure. The middle is crossing over over into eternity and the top is heaven. i couldn't find the "real" story that the painter e-mailed me and didn't have time to retype it, but that is the jist. I love it!!

I knew I shouldn't have said anything about Sid sleeping habits because that was short lived. I know that once they start sleeping through that you shouldn't feed them when they wake up, but at 1 or 2 am, long term thinking patterns just aren't there. She will work back into it, I am sure. until then....

My Handiwork

I finally got a decent picture of all 3 kids this morning before church. Conner's face seems to say, "where are all the boys? I am surrounded by girliness. I hope no one knows that I have painted toenails..." Precious

 

I made the dresses in the above pic and also these 2 coverups. Sewing can get addicting!!

Father's Day

I realize looking back at the last few posts, I don't have any of Conner lately. I will have to remedy that soon.

Sidney has slept 11 hrs for the past 4 nights. I hate to jinx it, but I think we may finally be there. check back next week....She is also rolling over both ways and laughing (a little). Such fun to watch them grow.

We had a great father's day. I worked and Ben watched the kids. ok so we celebrated a day earlier. I had a friend of ours construct a painting for Ben's office. he has admired her work and was so suprised when he opened the card. It really is beautiful and I will post a copy when he sends me the picture of it in his office.

Typical

This week, of all weeks, Conner has not wanted to nap. I don't know if he has just been too hyped up from bible school or what. He will play and then finally fall asleep about 10 minutes before it is time to get up. Here is what his room looks like when i go get him up. enough said...reminds me of a certain college boy I used to know (MK)

 

Linlee and Sidney are really having fun together lately. Linlee just loves her sister so much.

 

 

The Thumb and Bubble

I went to get Sidney from nap and she was just so content and sucking her thumb. I thought it was precious. L and C were paci children, I have never had a thumb sucker. It is so cute.

Family

Here is the crew doing what we always do at 5:00 pm on weekdays. Sit on the couch and watch Max and Ruby. Sidney is the only one paying me any attention, the others are glued to the TV.

My beautiful girls. I hope they are close when they get bigger. how neat to have a sister!

 

Linlee got to feed Sidney all by herself when I was at work yesterday. She is getting to be so big.

 

4 month checkup

Sidney had her 4 month check-up today. She weighs 12lb 8oz (50%) and is 24 inches "tall" (75%). She looks great he said. We are so glad that she is progressing like a normal little girl. What a blessing!!!
