My Handiwork

I finally got a decent picture of all 3 kids this morning before church. Conner's face seems to say, "where are all the boys? I am surrounded by girliness. I hope no one knows that I have painted toenails..." Precious

I made the dresses in the above pic and also these 2 coverups. Sewing can get addicting!!

I didn't realize how uneven my ribbons were until I saw this pic. Sorry Avery...

WOW! That inspires me! I really want to make those A line dresess, but just haven't sat down and done it. I have the pattern cut out and everything...have I said that to you before? Anyway...great job and great idea for a cover up! I love it!

PS-I've had a SUPER hard time keeping ribbon straight even on burp cloths! :)

Good Job with the sewing! Mama B said you and I are always on the same page because I bought a machine around the time you started sewing too- I love it! Just don't have much time lately to do anything!

I'm impressed! Having just boys, makes me want a girl... I'll just wait for a grand-daughter someday.

My sewing machine only sees ripped hems or blankets.

One day, though...

Great job, Alisa!!

adorable dresses. poor conner and his toenails. the cover ups are so cute. a couple of things i've tried when sewing ribbon is pinning, or using stitch witchery (sp?). it's and extra step, but it's an iron adhesive that would tack it down and hold it in place while you sewed. it might work!?

i was looking at the pic again and it looks like you made linlee's headband, too. it matches the fringe on sidney's dress. too crafty!!!
