Closet Tiger
This is Ben. Well, I finally have proof of what I've believed in my heart for a long time. My loving wife and mother my children is finally showing her true colors. I found this picture of Mommy on Linlee's camera wearing a captivating purple and gold LSU hat. I'm truely excited to see my wife blosoming into an LSU Tiger in her own time. This wonderful transition has occured naturally without an intervention.
Conner and Sidney chose the path of the Golden View early in life.
My only remaining wish is to see my beautiful first born, Linlee, to make the same transformation.

Someone turned the lights on!
Well, we have been very busy with all these sick kiddos. Kids tend not to sleep well went they can't breathe and so we don't sleep either... Linlee and Sidney are much better, but poor Conner has gotten the worst of the cold yuckies for sure. I have to clean his eyes and nose out every 10 minutes so he can see. Let's just say Gross!! He is pretty pitiful. {its pink eye}
A few days ago, Sidney started waving and at one point on Saturday was babbling "byebyebye" with it. She is also saying dada alot. When you ask her were so-and-so is and if they are in the room, she will look at them. Anyway, all that to say that I think a switch has definetely been flipped. It is so neat to be able to see the gears turning and the look of understanding on her face. She has started eating finger foods a little and even launched herself into a bent over stand today in the tub. Subsequently, we have a bump on the head for that one. More to come I am sure.
Linlee never ceases to amaze me with her abilities. Just a few days ago, she came downstairs to show me the card that she made for "the little boy and girl who live far away that do not have anything". She handed me her money pouch and said that she wanted to send the card and six dollars. Without much confidence, I asked if I could count out the money for her. To my suprise, she had 3 dollars in quaters and 3 dollars in dimes in the pouch. Don't ask me....I think she is ready for K!

Little Ham
Sidney is definitely learning what to so when the camera is around. I put a barrette in her hair the other day and of course had to take pictures. She didn't mind...
Linlee had community helper dress up day at school. She visited a potential kindergarten class last week and just joined right in as if she had been there from day 1. She loved it!!
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit this past weekend and brought this getup. Sidney put on her best tiger face for this picture. Unfotunately she was the fiercest one of the weekend...there is always next week..Roll tide!
