Can you say SUPERCUTS?

I made a major Mommy mistake when I took Conner to Supercuts last week. I am still not over it and could cry right now if I think about it too much. Luckily it is just hair and will grow back....eventually. I thought I knew what they did last time I took him. Apparently not... he has had many whitty comments about his hair, but the best 2 are " I can't wait until I grow up so my hair will come back." and " I look like Conner right here (pointing to his face) but not right here (pointing to his head). He cracks me up!!

I'm an Aunt!!

My little niece was born Monday morning weighing in at 7 lb 8.5 oz. I get a kick out of listening to my brother talk about the delivery and about Ava. You can hear the love in his voice. So sweet. I can hardly wait to meet her!!



This is of our "pet" squirrel. Linlee and Ben have been putting pecans on the window sill and every day he comes to get a snack. I happened to catch him yesterday. So funny!

Can you see a baby?

We had an ultrasound yesterday just to check and make sure things were looking good. The ultrasound lady decided to play around with the 4-D machine. Little baby girl was not in a really great position to get a good shot, but I thought these were cool anyway. I took pictures of the pictures so they are much better in person.


Conner and Linlee found these pine cones at the playground, so we decided to bring them home and decorate them. They did pretty well I think.

Goofing around

We bought a bag of baloons and have discovered static! Conner loves to stick them to his head or the wall.
This is our world famous "Candy House". We had lots of fun doing this!

Mama I'm Coming Home

Ben has gotten Linlee really involved with his I-tunes. She has really taken to this song for some reason. I thought it was really cute. Sad that my daughter knows how to open the software, find the song and make the graphics appear. I had no idea how to do all that! She's almost 4 and already very computer savvy!

Catching Up

Well it has been awhile, I know. We have been busy and all have had the 2+ week cold. Just a few pics to show what we have been up to. The first one is the infamous trip to Chuck-E-Cheese last Wednesday. We had a great time until Conner decided to throw the biggest tantrum known to man. This resulted in us cutting the trip short and going home. 2 hours later and lots of crying by everyone, he finally calmed down and took a nap.

Linlee rode this all by herself. We were all so impressed!

The nursery!!! It is 90% complete and I love how it turned out. The pics do not really do it justice.

Harvest Party

We didn't get many really great photos, but thought I would put a few on here so you could see my viscious pirate and my beautiful angel. The girls had a great time outside on the jumping things and the big slides. The had a hot air balloon, which we didn't ride but had fun watching. Conner loved the inside games. He needs another year to grow before he is ready for all the rowdy games I guess.

Town Square Annual Pictures

Nana and Papa are up this weekend and we took a trip to the square to take our annual photos with the fall decorations. Kind of funny because they were stringing all the Christmas lights already. Hope you enjoy!!

Ok, after much demand. I promise I didn't hack all of the limbs off the left side, it just didn't have any leaves on that side except at the bottom and the top. Makes it look very strange. Hope I didn't kill it...

Big Tree and Big Girl

In Feb 2002, we took a trip to Disneyworld with the Marlars. Both of us brought home an orange tree that stood about 4-5 inches tall. We were so excited, we were going to have Forida oranges in our backyard!!!! Well, skip to 2007 and still no oranges (despite drastic measures to get our trees together to see if they needed cross pollination...apparently not). Anyway, despite no oranges, we do have a rether massive potted tree that needed to be brought indoors since the cold weather is suddenly upon us. I thought I would take a picture of the tree before I hacked at it to fit it inside. I am ashamed to take the after picutre, but here is the before picture. Just for reference, Linlee is 40 inches tall......
Now I just thought Linlee looked so grown up this morning I had to take pictures. Ignore the chocolate around her mouth, you can't see that when you are taking the picture...

Fall Picture

It is almost impossible for everyone to be looking at the camera and smiling at the same time!!! Lucy just wouldn't cooperate.....It was such a beautiful day on Saturday, I just had to get a pic.

Aquilla Homecoming

We took a last minute trip to my parents house for my home church's homecoming. We had a great time and suprised Nana and Papa.

Family visit

My brother and his wife April can up to visit this past weekend. It was a quick visit, but we had fun watching football and eating! The kids just loved it!!


I walked downstairs Saturday morning and could hear the kids but couldn't find them. They had crawled into the cabinets in my bedroom and made a "house". this is how I found them, in their bunkbeds.

Just Updates

So I have taken a week off from blogging, i am not the only one.....I have been having very bad pain in my lower right belly so last week, Conner and I went to the Dr. I thought it was a bladder infection. Turns out it was JUST round ligament pain. I had never really had that before with the other 2 or at least not for very long. This lasted for at least a week and OUCH!!! Anyway, I got to see the baby unexpectedly so that was nice! Ben wasn't there so I didn' find out what it was (it hid its bottom anyway). maybe in a few weeks!

My mom e-mailed me these pics a long time ago and I just ran accross them again. Talk a bout a blast from the past (or a look into the future?) This is me and Todd making a snowman with my cousin Chad. Look like anyone else we know? :)

Catching Up

We have been without internet during the day for about a week now and it has been frustrating. For some reason we have it today so I am catching up on my blogging.

Linlee now knows about the new baby and is really excited! She has been in mommy mode the past few days. We watched the Fish twins last Tues afternoon and she loved feeding Daniel. She is a great "baby watcher" as she puts it. Actually she is a big help and I am very grateful for that considering what we will be in for in about 5 months!!

We took the kids to the zoo on Friday morning. Ben took off to go with us and we were so glad he could! We all had a really great time. Great day to enjoy the outdoors!!
