Linlee and Conner had their Easter egg hunt at preschool yesterday. I luckily got to be there for both of the egg hunts this year! It was great. Linlee's class hunted eggs by which sticker they had on their card. Very fun and cute idea!
Conner's class had their names on all their eggs. He found 7 out of 8 of his. There was another class hunting near where Conncer's class was. His eggs were very distiguishable and I saw someone from the other class pick up on of Conner's eggs. Conner saw this too but we thought maybe the other boy had eggs like Conner's. Well, after a few minutes, Conner decided he was not ok with this. When his class went back inside, I went over to the other kids basket and retrieved the egg in question. Hope he didn't notice....it was an honest mistake, his name was Connor and the teacher helping must have just quickly read the name and thought yay (even though they were using the sticker method...)
We took the Fish family fishing yesterday as they had never been...ironic huh??
We had a great time!!! Sidney loved going down the hill of the bridge in her jeep. She will now say "cheese" when I take a picture.
While Annelise was borrowing Linlee's fishing rod, Linlee found a dandelion. She was sooooo excited. "I have wanted to blow on one of these my whole life!!!" she said. cute!
We have never taken a picture of the moms with all the kids so we took advantage of the oportunity. Our lives are so intertwined and these kids are a very large part of each of us. I kind of dread the fall when we sort of go our seperate paths once school starts. What a lot of kids!!! We had to take about 12 shots before all of them were at least looking forward at one time!
ps, Daniel had a mishap in the water and had to strip halfway. he usually is wearing pants....
